Good and effective communication is vitally important. From the beginning God communicated with His created human beings; to not do so, He would not be God. After the fall of man, He continued to select individuals to speak on His behalf. God knew that there will be those who will raise and presume to speak on His behalf so He set the rules. If someone spoke in the name of God and what He spoke would not come to pass, he was to be put to death. God guards His truth zealously and so should we.
