At this point in time the people of Israel are demanding a King. They were no longer willing to allow the Lord to lead them but rather wanted what they want instead! Going against God’s will like this is never a good idea, and we’ll see where it leads! It serves as a good reminder of what can happen when we go against God’s plan for our lives!
