God has called some to serve full-time in the ministry, but is it ok for them to receive a salary from the people they serve at church? And are there times when the pastor may need to pick up a job on the side to meet their financial needs? We’ll talk about that today on Abounding Grace as we near the end of our study in Second Corinthians. One thing that jumps off the page in chapter twelve is the apostle Paul’s heart for the people he served. He didn’t want to be a burden on them, not seeking what they have, though he gave everything he could to serve them.
