Growing older has its own challenges and one of them is staying in the race and completing it. So it’s helpful to remember that God’s will at the end of life is as a critical as the beginning. In our study of the life of David we’ve come now to his last days. And in First Kings chapter one we learn that one of David’s son, Adonijah takes advantage of his father’s frail condition. Sadly it’s not an uncommon problem for family members today. But David despite his weakened state seeks to fulfill his responsibility. Through it all God has His back, and He has our too.
