Last time, you may remember, we looked at a low point in David’s life. He had turned away from the Lord for nearly 16 months.He soon discovered the futility of living apart from the Lord’s will and so he decided to return. God was right there waiting with open arms, and provided the strength he needed as well. Today we’ll see that the Lord didn’t stop at that. He was far from being done with David. In fact, some of the best years of his life were still ahead.
