Many of us are quick to stare at the clock on the wall, or make a few phone calls if we have to wait more than a few minutes for someone. But imagine how you’d feel if you had to wait around 7 and 1/2 years for something that you really wanted. That’s the waiting place that David found himself in, before becoming King over Israel.
