As parents there are times when we’re called upon to discipline our children. They usually don’t appreciate it at the time right! Perhaps they even think you’re the most evil person on the face of the planet for doing so, but we try to remind them that it is out of love that we do what we do. Today on According to the Scriptures we visit Second Samuel chapter 15, and Hebrews chapter 12, where we’re taught that God disciplines those He loves too. By the end of our time together, you’ll be equipped to respond properly to the Lord’s chastening, and not be discouraged by it.
