Shalom Christmas!
We have a wonderful message on the Incarnation, especailly when we consider how Jewish this season really is. It is Jewish in the sense of the many Hebrew bible passages that are fulfilled through this miraculous event called the Incarnation. One question that is addressed is why Yeshua needed to come. He certainly did not come the first time to bring world peace; this is obvious. Instead, He came to bring peace to each heart. What word comes to your mind that stands in opposition to the word peace? What about the word fear? That is what destroyed the peace of Adam and Eve; fear. They ran away to hide because of sin. Sin made them fearful and robbed them of their peace.
This special gift that Yeshua brings to us, His peace, gets unwrapped when by faith we call on Him to take our sin so we can then live without fear. Do you want peace? Then let the Messiah deal with your personal sin.
If you do not know Yeshua, then today’s message is just for you! If you are Jewish and do not know the Messiah, then this message is absolutely for you. Just listen to every point made and discover the Jewish roots of Christmas so that you too can unwrap the blessings of this remarkable and predicted event.
