The Book of Ruth is a moving story of love, hope, faithfulness, of true kindness, in the midst of continuous tragedies. This is a story of a loving daughter-in law, Ruth, who refuses to abandon her mother in law, Naomi, even after much insistence, and it is there where we reach the heart of this story of compassion, gentleness and faith. Ruth had come to know and believe in God and found in Him her source of courage and love; she knew very well what she was doing because she had met the God of Israel and she was walking by faith; this is at the core of the story.
