Regrettably, the majority of the Protestant-Evangelical Christian Church for almost two centuries has remained passive and uninterested in challenging Socialism. Many agree this is due in part to the great influence of a theological system of eschatology (the study of the End Times) known as Dispensationalism. Also, an important factor is the “Two Kingdoms” doctrine, which states that the Church has no role whatsoever in secular or political affairs. This has isolated the Church’s influence on culture.
