There is a trend that is being taught to our children and society as a whole that being a citizen it is not exceptional. The true concept of citizen has been lost and devalued. During the times of Greece and Rome to be a citizen was a title of great honor. We must keep in mind that with honor comes responsibility. Robert Kennedy said, "...today, as never before in the free world, responsibility is the greatest right of citizenship and service is the greatest of freedom's privileges."
