Just as King David set up his son, Solomon, for success to build the temple according to God’s blueprints, Christian fathers are called to set up their children for success. When we model the spiritual life for the next generation, we’re providing the winsome, biblical pattern. On today’s edition of Family Talk, Pastor Brenen Beeler reminds Christian dads that their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. Unlike the Old Testament temple where God only revealed Himself once a year, we are blessed that He inhabits us daily. That should empower us to disciple our children through regular Bible reading together, weekly church attendance, and devoted service in Jesus Christ’s name.
