Fathers in the Field is a ministry where adult male mentors reach out to young men who don’t have a father in the home, doing adventures in God’s creation. The founder, John Smithbaker from Riverton, Wyoming, shares with Gerry about how a friend’s dad pulled him along in their family outdoor adventures, which kindled a desire for time in the out-of-doors, and it eventually was where his career path led.
