The Bible teaches us to love, pray for and bless those who hurt us just as God loved and gave His Son for us even though we lived in rebellion from Him. Once we accept His love and forgiveness and become His child, He continues to love us through discipline that often hurts but it is because He cares and wants us to have the life He intended for us in the best way.
