When we become Christians, we put to death our old life and walk in a new way, submitting to God in everything. Our flesh puts up a battle by reminding us of the sin that we’re missing out on, but when we hold fast to God and grow stronger through resisting the temptations, the sin becomes less and less missed in our lives and we realize that with God there’s nothing that satisfies us that we’re missing out on.
