One of Satan’s favorite tactics is to whisper to Christians, “See, you sinned! You’re not worthy to get into heaven!” The truth which Satan conceals is that believers don’t stand on their own records. They stand on the merits of Jesus. This can free you from the guilt that is so paralyzing. Knowing your place in Christ means you can tell Satan to get lost.
