When confronted by the standards of God, we are shown to be dead, deceived, and deluded. God’s moral laws, as laid out in The Ten Commandments, were given to Moses to reveal first God’s holiness, and then our need for His grace. The Law is a clear look at who we really are—and only God’s grace can bridge the gap.
