As believers we live inbetween two worlds. The physical world of the here and now. And the future that is to come, brought by Jesus Christ. While we recognize that the days are growing darker as time progresses on this world, this should cause us to look up with hopeful expectation because our redemption is drawing near. In Ephesians 5 we are given commands on how to walk, a practical guide on how to be in the world, but not of the world.
