Saint Augustine said, “For God judged it better to bring good out of evil than not to permit any evil to exist.” As we watch the church experiencing the effects of persecution, Pastor Jeff shows how God was able to bring good out of the challenges of persecution. And through their response, God sent Philip to preach Christ to a group of people prepared by Jesus and ready to receive the Gospel. He uses this example to show us the priority of God’s word first, and then the Lord confirmed His word with miracles after, never the other way around.
