Though Hezekiah was blessed with an extension on life, we learn from Isaiah that he became proud and didn’t follow the Lord. Sometimes God lets us have our own way in order to teach us that He is sovereign. We cannot predict the ways that God will work; but we do know that His ways are always perfect.
