At the deepest point of our pain from within a trial, it is difficult for us to imagine that anyone else understands what we are experiencing. Yet not only does God understand our pain, but He is able to use it in ways that we can’t imagine. As we look at the death of Stephen, the church’s first martyr, Pastor Jeff says that it certainly wasn’t wasted, but God used it in a powerful way to pave the way to be a powerful witness in the life of one who would become the greatest of the apostles.
