Today on Sound Doctrine we get back into Genesis. We left off in chapter 35, where God told Jacob to go back to Bethel, the place where he met him for the first time. Jacob made the choice to return to his first love. But now he’s going to deal with tremendous loss. Few things in life are as heart-wrenching as the death of your spouse or parent! Jacob would deal with both in this chapter of his life.
