Counterfeits within the church have existed for a long time. They infiltrate  and insinuate themselves among believers while trying to influence the church to follow them. Pastor Jeff shows us that though Simon appeared to be a believer, he was a counterfeit who was confronted by Peter about his sin. He helps us to see that the best way to expose the counterfeit, or lie is by dwelling in the real, which is God’s Word.
