As we continue in Isaiah, we see that the children of Israel are taken into captivity. Yet Pastor Jeff reminds us that nowadays we don’t have to be overcome by invading armies in order to be taken captive. Tempting situations and other struggles can bind us and take us captive just as much as any physical foe. Just as God delivered the Israelites from their enemies, He can also deliver us.
