In the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel, God ordered King Saul to destroy the Amalekites. But Saul chose to disobey, and save Agag, the king of the Amalekites. Sadly, at the end of Saul’s life, he would be killed and destroyed, by none other then an Amalekite.
Today, Pastor Jeff says “the Amalekites symbolize our flesh”, and if we are not careful, our flesh will overcome us. But when we are obedient to the Lord, we will have victory over the flesh.
