The Lord Jesus was there with them, and He’ll be with them in that day, those that are His, when they go through the trials. And friends, He’s with you and me today when we go through trials down here. He said when He was here, John 16:33, “These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might have peace. In the world, ye shall have tribulation (that is, trouble), but be of good cheer. I have overcome the world.” And the Lord Jesus said, “I’m going to be with you.” “Lo, I am with you always.” And He promises never to leave nor forsake His own. What a picture we have here.
