Many of us are quick to stare at the clock on the wall, or make a few phone calls if we have to wait more than a few minutes for someone. But imagine how you’d feel if you had to wait around 7 and 1/2 years for something that you really wanted. That’s the waiting place that David found himself in, before becoming King over Israel. As we’re about to see today and next time, there was a divine reason behind the delay.
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;” Philippians 4:6
