Back in the 1950 Manaco Grand Prix, Juan Manuel Fangio was approaching a dangerous bend in the track when he noticed all the faces of the spectators were all turned away from him. "If they were not looking at me," Fangio thought, "They must be looking at something more interesting around the corner." He braked hard and as he rounded the bend noticed the road was blocked by a massive pileup. It pays to heed a warning, and that's expecially true when it comes to God's warnings. Today on Focal Point, we consider the example of Noah and notice the importance of not only heeding God's warnings but also rightly responding to them.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
