Cynicism can keep unbelievers from submitting to God and receiving new life. But cynicism can also be a barrier for those who are saved, keeping us from fully trusting God and submitting to his leading. So we have to be aggressive at rooting out cynicism.
If you doubt the goodness of God, don't kick the can down the road. Don't put it off. Deal with it now! Respond to yourself in a rational, prayerful, logical, urgent way.
True courage is rare. And when we see it, we may question our own spiritual resolve when we are confronted or censored. The early church thrived not despite opposition, but through it and Christians today are facing increased attacks to their faith that may cost them something in their lives.
