When we think about why we celebrate Christ’s crucifixion it can feel a bit morbid. On the surface, it may seem to some as if we’re glorifying the murder of an innocent man! Pastor Mike Fabarez reminds us the real reason we celebrate is because through it, Jesus defeated death and sin by rising from the dead.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
