Second Corinthians 13:5 says, “Examine yourself, to see whether you are in the faith.” Pastor Mike Fabarez explains that while this could be taken out of context, causing us to feel called out, the true intention of this verse is to prompt us to reflect on our relationship with God.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
