When we’re interviewing for a job, we generally try to put our best foot forward. We highlight all the impressive qualifications on our resume, talk about our strengths, and dress to impress. While this is appropriate for a job interview, our relationship with God is based on a completely different standard. Today on Focal Point, Mike Fabarez continues a study in 1 Corinthians. Fortunately for most of us, God doesn’t choose us for our impressive qualifications.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
