Nobody is ever excited to get a cavity filled at the dentist. It’s uncomfortable and even painful at times to drill out the decay and fix what’s broken. In the same way, confronting fellow believers about sinful addictions, habits, or attitudes is never a fun activity! Today on Focal Point, we’ll talk about the fact that sometimes we have to do a little surgery, and cause a little pain in order to help each other be holy.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
