“Think positive.” That’s a common piece of advice you’ll hear from self-help gurus. But Pastor Mike Fabarez explains that, if we only ever dwell on happy thoughts, it’ll actually make us less effective as witnesses for Christ. So, does that mean we should always be down in the dumps? Not exactly.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
