As our western society becomes more secular, our values are shifting away from the belief that humans are sinful and need a Savior, and towards the belief that there is no God and humankind must save itself. Pastor Mike Fabarez is talking about building a foundation of understanding so the gospel message can sink in.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
