There’s no arguing with current statistics. More and more households are breaking up, becoming causalities of a faulty philosophy. On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez continues a message introduced yesterday by inviting us to look at the biblical blueprints for constructing a healthy and happy home. We’re looking at Colossians 3, where we find a somewhat controversial subject in today’s climate. It’s a sensitive subject between husbands and wives, and we’re referring, of course, to submission.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
