Keeping Your Eyes on the Destination
Welcome to Focal Point, with pastor and Bible teacher, Mike Fabarez. Currently, we’ve been in a study of the book of Colossians, called "Spiritual Detours". We have seen that, not unlike our own day, the believers of that early church were looking to follow Jesus, but were often sidetracked. In loving response, the Apostle Paul gave them guidance on how to block out the diversions and distractions, and keep moving ahead.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
