Welcome to Focal Point, with pastor and Bible teacher, Mike Fabarez. Currently, we’ve been in a study of the book of Colossians, called "Spiritual Detours". We have seen that, not unlike our own day, the believers of that early church were looking to follow Jesus, but were often sidetracked. In loving response, the Apostle Paul gave them guidance on how to block out the diversions and distractions, and keep moving ahead.
So many people are claiming opinions as their own "personal truth." This leads to conflicting narratives as they claim their version of reality is the right one. Confusion abounds even within the church. Who do you trust? What is truth?
