The Problem with Being Ugly
When we gaze into the mirror, we might like what we see. Sure, there are a few wrinkles, some faint love handles, maybe a blemish here or there. But over-all, we’re not unattractive people, are we? On this edition of Focal Point, Mike Fabarez holds up the mirror of Scripture to give us an honest reflection of our spiritual appearance. And it’s not a pretty picture! The bad news is that sin has marred our image. But Colossians, Chapter 1, provides some good news.
You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
