When we gaze into the mirror, we might like what we see. Sure, there are a few wrinkles, some faint love handles, maybe a blemish here or there. But over-all, we’re not unattractive people, are we? You can know something about a person, their biography, greatest achievements, famous sayings...but still be a stranger to them. Real relationships require something more. Presence. Pursuit. A genuine willingness to close the distance.
