Jesus died, He was buried, and He came back from the dead. And it’s the resurrection that gives validity to the virgin birth. It’s the resurrection that gives value to the cross. It’s the resurrection that gives veracity to the gospel. And today the gospel is not just a pious platitude to whisper in hushed tones. But it’s a historical event to be screamed from the street corner by the paperboy in broad daylight. And it is subject to inspection and examination. There’s no ambiguity, my friend, about the facts of the gospel.
