Now the Lord Jesus, though, said, concerning the other, “Because straight is the gate ….”That gate is very narrow. It’s narrow in the sense that the Lord Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by me.” Now it’s narrowed down to Him, to a person. He is the way. He doesn’t show the way. He is the way. You either have Christ or you don’t have Him. You either trust Him or you don’t trust Him. It hasn’t anything in the world to do with going through a ceremony or making pledges or going forward in a meeting or that type of thing at all, or even joining the church. It has to do with your relationship with Jesus Christ.
