“They shall never perish, and no one shall pluck them out of My hand. My Father, who hath given them unto me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.” Now it’s not, therefore, your ability to hold on to Him, but of His ability to hold onto you, my friend. Now He says here, with infinite wisdom and full authority of the Godhead, that He can hold us and that they who trust Him shall never perish. The question is: Is your hope fixed in God who is all powerful or in a god who may suffer defeat?
