Those of you who were involved in athletics growing up may have spent a considerable amount of time on the bench or sidelines. Oh the joy though, when the coach calls your number and says, “Get in the game!” Perhaps that’s exactly what you need to hear from the Lord today on Focal Point? Recently we’ve discussed our position in Christ. If we’re right with God, we’ve been justified. Once that’s taken care of, we ought to become increasingly holy and useful to God. There’s no sitting on the bench when it comes to the Christian life. We’re all to be in the game, and doing what the coach calls us to do.

Acerca de Pastor Mike Fabarez

Mike Fabarez is the founding pastor of Compass Bible Church in South Orange County, California and has been in pastoral ministry for more than 30 years. He is committed to clearly communicating God’s word verse-by-verse and encourages his listeners to apply what they have learned to their daily lives.

Pastor Mike is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Talbot School of Theology (M.A.) and Westminster Theological Seminary in California (D.Min.).
