“And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; beginning to sink, he cried, Lord, save me.” That is the shortest prayer in the Bible. He got right down to business, and I think this is the type of praying we need today. Lord, save me. “And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?” You see, his problem was he took his eyes off Jesus; got his eyes on those waves rolling. You and I today are in a world where we see the waves rolling, and this is the time when we need to keep our eyes on the Lord Jesus.
